The new portal of the Economic Development Agency – Chamber of Commerce, into which both the former www.agency.sm and the former www.guidatitano.com have merged under the new address www.camcom.sm, has been presented today to the press. The portal marks a milestone in the process of digitalisation of services for domestic and foreign companies and professionals as the Official Business Gate of San Marino to the world.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari “The upgrade of EDA-CC portal represents an important step in the progressive alignment of San Marino to international standards in terms of business services and investment attraction. Another useful step in terms of competitiveness of the jurisdiction.”
The Minister of Industry Fabio Righi said “We are finally entering the restructuring phase of the chamber and investment attraction services that will allow us to develop a more solid and virtuous economy. EDA-CC is structuring itself to become the one-stop shop for businesses and professionals in order to compete more effectively internationally.”
According to EDA-CC President Emanuel Colombini “It accelerates the restructuring phase started more than two years ago, also testified to by the work carried out in the first half of 2022, effective and of great support to entrepreneurs and foreign investors. Ninety qualified contacts with foreign entities, fifty-two of which passed to preliminary assessments for the establishment of new companies in San Marino, a dozen training initiatives addressed to Italian accountants, ideal interlocutors in the interactions between the entrepreneurial fabrics of the two countries.”
Director General of EDA-CC Denis Cecchetti said “Today we share with the San Marino community a new and more structured and targeted approach to support local businesses and to attract foreign companies in those sectors most in line with San Marino peculiarities, with a view to sustainability and resilience. We present the new logo, new content, new chamber and internationalisation services. This is an important moment in the life of EDA-CC, a great opportunity for the whole country.”
