AICEP is the investment and internalisation agency of the Portuguese Government, with a global network in over 50 countries, an agency with which EDA-CC shares the mission of fostering structural initiatives and promoting close cooperation between companies in the two countries.
The signing of this MoU, which aims, among other things, to create favourable conditions to foster economic cooperation and promote agreements between economic operators and professionals of the two countries, acquires even greater value due to the Double Taxation Convention in force between the Republic of San Marino and Portugal, thus ensuring a framework of greater certainty.
In particular, efforts will focus on promoting activities of mutual interest, especially in segments such as tourism, innovative products and services, food supplements and digital services.
In synergy with the institutions, it is also through such partnerships that EDA-CC intends to express its function as an ‘Official Business Gate’ for investors, entrepreneurs and professionals interested in new projects straddling several countries.
